Help The All-Terrain Wheelchair Project

Aim
We're raising funds for our friends at the All-Terrain Wheelchair Project to help them get their wheels under them.
The All-Terrain Wheelchair Project are a group of people among Citrus Housing's community of supporters, who want to help people with mobility issues to still be able to attend festivals, gatherings, and generally get outside into nature, regardless of their disabilities, the weather, or the terrain.
We all know how great it can be to get outside. Time in nature, exploring the countryside, camping, or attending outdoor festivals, can work wonders for our physical and mental health. But, regular wheelchair models tend to really struggle with grass, mud, or uneven terrain, making it hard or often just impossible for people with mobility issues to get off the beaten track. All-terrain wheelchairs can be a great answer to this, but they can also be bulky, expensive, and can be awkward to store!
We're aiming to address this by getting some all-terrain chairs which we'll look after, maintain, and will be making available for community use. We're saving up for two all-terrain chairs to start with, and for a van to transport them wherever they need to go.
We're super excited to be getting this project off the ground and out into the trees and grass!
