Help Shelter Ugolyok to rescue Ukrainian animal companions left behind and to courageously keep their 500+ animals safe while war continue
I have been following and supporting Shelter Ugolyok in Ukraine. I was heartbroken – like all of us – to hear about the war breaking in Ukraine. When I learned about the critical situation of Shelter Ugolyok, I knew I wanted to help.
Alexandra Levitska started the Shelter Ugolyok back in 2013 which has been rescuing and caring for animals in need. Shelter Ugolyok is a non-profit organisation officially named ‘Organization Paw of Help and Shelter Ugolyok’. It has expanded over the years and currently includes three shelters across Ukraine and are home for more than 500 rescued animals.
Alexandra and her team are bravely staying with their animals. Since the war started they have been overwhelmed with the amount of daily rescues involving those animals left behind - either abandoned in the streets or left locked up inside the property.
Please support us so we can raise funds for them so they can continue rescuing those left behind and provide them with food, shelter and veterinary care; and to keep the animals as safe as possible as the war continues.
Thank you
Maria Aguirregomozcorta and the team at Shelter Ugolyok
