Fundraising for Sophia to have life saving treatment abroad for her rare leukemia, covering medical treatment costs
Stand Strong with Sophia
In early May, Sophia was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. Thankfully, it was caught early — but the specific type of Leukemia Sophia has is extremely rare in the UK, making her treatment options here very limited.
Sophia is an extraordinary young person: kind, mature beyond her years, compassionate, and always putting others first. She is also immensely talented — excelling academically, musically, and in sports. Despite her own challenges, she has always been there for others, and now she needs our support more than ever.

Sophia’s doctors at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH) have recommended she seeks treatment abroad, where cutting-edge therapies are available. The potential curative options include but not limited to:
Unfortunately, the costs of these treatments in the United States are extremely high - for example, the bone marrow transplant and associated care wrap is over £400,000 just by itself, CAR-T immunotherapy is in excess of £400,000 including manufacturing costs of T-Cells and associated care.
As a family we are doing everything we can to cover part of the expenses, but the financial burden is far beyond our means.
Our Goal
We are aiming to raise £1,100,000– £1,500,000 to give Sophia the best possible chance of recovery and a healthy future. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly towards Sophia’s medical care and associated costs.
How You Can Help
Your generosity could make all the difference — helping Sophia access treatments that could save her life. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign widely with friends, family, and networks.
Together, we can give Sophia the chance she deserves: to beat Leukemia and live a long, fulfilling life.
