Shannon was knocked down last year & suffered a bad head injury. She requires full time care & needs an eye gazer to help her communicate

About the project
Shannon is a joyful, outgoing 12 year old girl whos life changed dramatically when she was knocked down by a car in March 2014, Shannon spent all of last year in hospital in Cardiff and then the childrens trust in Tadworth.
Shannon was able to come home in December which was lovely for the family to have their little girl home for Christmas. Unfortunately Shannon suffered a very bad brain injury and now requires round the clock care, her family have had to move house to a bungalow to support the changes Shannon needs.
Shannon's mum cares for her along with her dad, elder sister and brother and had to give up work to give her daughter the full time care she needs.
They have a hoist, wheelchair, other medical equiptment and mobility car, but there is so much more that the family require to help Shannon lead a fulfilled life
Shannon is in desperate need to have an eye gazer to help her communicate with everyone so all fundraising will be going towards that and anyother items the family need to help aid Shannons recovery.

I will be carrying out a series of fundraising events throughout the year, from mountain climbing, to a half marathon walk to try and raise the money to make this come true and help the family.
