On the 14th April 2020 we'd raised £2,260 with 87 supporters in 21 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

New stretch target
Once the wages are paid, I'd like to make sure all our indie suppliers are paid as well. Then onto getting the bills sorted out.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. With your help I can guarantee the staff their wages and pay all of our bills which are not being put on hold.
Since taking over SWR, I have never faced the financial struggle I am facing now. I've always made sure that the staff and bills are paid long before I've been able to pay myself anything and I take pride in that.
We have fully shut down now and have no idea when any form of grant (if any) is going to be paid out. We fully rely on our walk in trade to bring us the daily income we desperately need to keep afloat.
If we are to survive, we really do need your help. If I've ever given you that cheeky bit of discount/free drink or made you that wrap that made your day, please consider chucking a few quid our way. We've been a little community hub for years now and like to think we've supported hundreds of you. This is something that I'm truly passionate about and would love to continue doing. Glenn x
