Help Sally pay bills and living expenses

Our amazing friend Sally Davidson needs help to pay bills/living expenses/ get back on her feet after prison.

Our amazing friend Sally has been imprisoned for asking the government to take urgent action on the climate crisis. Many people know and have worked with Sally over the years. We all know how great she is! Need I say more!?

Sally is self employed as a hairdresser and sometimes works in the film and TV industry. As a self employed person it will take a few months after she gets out to get back on her feet and start getting the jobs and money coming through again. This is to help her with bills and general living expenses. The £3000 is just a rough target and Sally has said that any money left over that she doesn't need will be donated to Rebels in Prison Support who are doing a super job and currently supporting twenty- one non violent people in prison who are also asking the government to take action on the climate crisis.

Sally will be 37 on 7th August and will spend her birthday in prison.

In her own words, 'One of the reasons I'm taking action today and have taken action in the past is that I am petrified about the breakdown of law and order in the UK. We have examples of societal collapse around the world when there's war, when there's food shortages, the most horrendous things happen amongst communities. I deeply respect and am grateful that I live in a country where we have some sense of democracy and this is what I'm not prepared to lose. It's 2024 and we need our new government to take rapid and urgent action to avert climate collapse. This isn't something thats happening in the future - it's happening right now.'
