Help replace the stolen Llangorse Lake Sword
We did it

On Saturday 14th October 2017 it was discovered that this iconic sword had been vandalised and stolen, let's pull together and replace it.

 New stretch target

If we reach the target the extra money will hopefully go towards a stronger metal.

Many visitors to Llangorse Lake will have admired, photographed and attempted to crown themselves king by pulling out the legendary sword in the stone near the crannog center. The scene even adorns the cover of this year's Brecon Beacons visitor guide.

The sword was financed, installed and maintained by the team from Lakeside Caravan Park in 2014 and has brought fun to lots of visitors.

On 14th October 2017 unfortunately the iconic sword was vandalised and stolen. With little information to go on, it's unlikely that the sword can be tracked down.

It would be wonderful if the community and people who have enjoyed the sword could come together and donate to the custodians of the sword to allow them to replace it with a new sword without having to fund it themselves again.
