Yateley Industries for the Disabled is a charity providing housing, training and employment to people with disabilities, recognising that every person should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and make a meaningful contribution to society.

Our three-acre site in Yateley provides accommodation for up to 47 people and houses our factory building.  This is one of the few remaining supported factories that help vulnerable adults to do paid meaningful work and training intended to help progress them into mainstream employment.

Support Yateley Industries and Change Lives Like Chris’

Chris has been part of the Yateley Industries family for over 30 years. He loves his work so much that he even volunteers in the factory on his days off!

Living at Yateley Industries has given Chris the independence to thrive, build lasting friendships, and take part in the activities he loves - especially craft evenings. Your support will help provide opportunities for more people like Chris to live, work, and engage in a supportive community.

One of our recently renovated properties, which was just about to be relet to support our mission, has suffered significant water damage due to a burst pipe in the loft. The damage is extensive, with ceilings collapsed and water pouring through the property for nearly 48 hours before it was discovered.

Our team have stopped the leak but they’ve also identified possible asbestos, meaning repairs could exceed £10,000 and take months to complete – funds we simply don’t have. We’re reaching out to our amazing community for funding to help us get this property back into use. If you’re a skilled tradesperson – plumber, electrician, builder, decorator – or know someone who might be willing to donate time, expertise, money or materials to help us get this property back into use, please get in touch.

This property was meant to provide much-needed accommodation to two disabled adults and with your help, we can turn this setback around. Let’s come together and make a difference!
