Reduce Child Poverty Across Payatas, Philippines

Aim

We are students from the University of Westminster and are setting up this fundraiser to raise awareness about Child Poverty

Who are we?

Hello, we are 'Hunger Rapid Relief" a group of 5 Business students from the University of Westminster, here on Crowdfunder to make a change, raise donations, increase awareness, and gather like-minded people to tackle child poverty. The charity we have chosen to help is Poverty Child, which is dedicated to improving the lifestyle of impoverished children in the slum areas of the Philippines. Poverty Child's mission is to empower these children who are raised in the slums by providing the proper care and more opportunities to give them a future where they can be free of any shackles. 

Why child poverty?

Child poverty is a leading problem for millions of children worldwide, and we believe it is time for a change. Children who grow up in poverty are more likely to suffer from malnutrition, which can lead to stunted growth and developmental delays. They are also  likely to experience chronic health conditions, such as asthma and neurological problems, which can negatively impact their ability to learn and succeed in school.

We, as human beings, should no longer be ignorant of the suffering of innocent children. They do not deserve to have their lives trapped due to being born in poverty struck areas, they do not deserve to suffer in silence, and they certainly do not deserve to be negatively affected due to lack of food and water.

How to Support Us?

Support us 'Hunger Rapid Relief' by donating to our Fundraiser and spreading awareness of our campaign. 100% of all your donations will be sent to Poverty Child, who work with the local authorities and experts to help better the lives of children in slum areas such as Payatas in the Philippines, where children significantly suffer due to poor healthcare, education and a lack of food.

• £15 donation will help feed a child for a month.
• £45 will help feed a child for three months.
• £180 will help feed a child for a year.

Even donations as little as £1 can help a child in extraordinary ways. Please help us save these children and protect their future.
