A young woman needs help to live in war-torn Gaza

Jane in the UK is running this fundraiser on behalf of Farah, who writes: 

My name is Farah, and I am a journalist from North Gaza, Palestine. I am writing this message during one of the most difficult periods of my life, as I struggle to survive amid a devastating humanitarian crisis.

Life in North Gaza has become extremely difficult. Basic necessities such as food and clean drinking water, have become very difficult to access. Prices have risen dramatically, and daily life has become a constant struggle.

Because of the war and the destruction around me, my personal belongings and work equipment were damaged. My phone was damaged and I am in urgent need of medical treatment.

I never imagined that I would have to ask for help in this way, but I have no other choice. I am reaching out with hope that kind people around the world will stand beside me and help me get through this difficult time.

My dream is to rebuild my life, continue my work as a journalist and keep telling the stories of my people with honesty and dignity. You can read my latest article here:
