Help protect Ukrainian defenders with camouflage nets made by our mining comrades. We are seeking to raise £5,000 for purchase of materials.
In the freezing trenches on the frontline, the brave men and women of the Ukrainian armed forces are protected by camouflage nets made by comrades in the NGPU trade union for miners.
Chair of the Independent Union of Miners Lidiya Galkina and her team of volunteers at Step To Victory work hard to build and distribute camouflage nets to the frontline. But they cannot purchase, build and distribute these nets alone. To make sure Ukrainian defenders in the trenches have the protection they need, we urgently need your help.
This winter, support our Crowdfunder to buy materials for camouflage nets made by the brave volunteers at Step To Victory Pershotravensk (Shakhtarske), Dnipropetrovsk region. Will you donate today?
Back in November, Ukraine Solidarity Campaign travelled to Pershotravensk where we met Lidiya and her team of volunteers at Step To Victory.
We saw how they independently produce camouflage nets which are then delivered to frontline trenches. These nets provide cover and security to the Ukrainian armed forces as they resist Russian aggression.
Lidiya and Step To Victory urgently need your support to purchase materials to build their camouflage nets and deliver them to the frontline. Will you donate now?
We have identified a local producer of camouflage materials in Kharkiv. Now, we need your help to purchase the fabric, and transport it to Pershotravensk where Lidiya and Step To Victory can get to work weaving and producing protective netting.
At the same time, your donation today can buy and deliver:
Warm socks and thermal underwear
Balaclavas
Hygiene products
Coffee
to the frontline. As Ukraine’s soldiers face battle in sub-zero temperatures during the harsh winter, basic essentials such as socks and thermals can make a huge difference to morale, health and safety in this brutal war.
Donate now in solidarity with our trade union colleagues in Pershotravensk.
