Every child deserves the very best start in life.

Since opening our doors in 2011, The Brambles Nursery & Children's Centre has proudly supported hundreds of local children and families across West Cornwall. As a registered charity, we've created a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where children can learn, play and thrive, helping them build confidence, friendships and a lifelong love of learning.

Today, around 75 children attend The Brambles, and demand for high-quality childcare continues to grow. We already have waiting lists extending into 2027, highlighting the urgent need for more childcare places for local families.

Unlike many childcare providers, The Brambles is a registered charity, and every decision we make is centred around children and families rather than profit. We are proud to offer some of the lowest childcare fees in the area, ensuring that high-quality early years education remains affordable and accessible to as many families as possible.

Keeping our childcare affordable is something we deeply believe in. However, it also means we have very limited reserves to fund major building projects. Rather than increasing our fees and placing an additional financial burden on families, we are asking our community to help us make this exciting project possible.

Our vision is to build a purpose-built baby room, creating space for up to 12 additional babies in a calm, safe and specially designed environment where they can begin their learning journey surrounded by care, warmth and opportunity.

The total cost of this exciting project is approximately £180,000. Thanks to the generous support of Cornwall Council, we have already secured £50,000 towards the build. We are now asking our community to help us raise the remaining funds needed to bring this vision to life.

Every pound donated through Help Our Brambles Grow will go directly towards building our new baby room. Your support will help create a beautiful space where babies can learn, explore and flourish while giving more local families access to the high-quality childcare they need.
