Help Nom Wholefoods buy a peanut butter machine.

Aim

We are raising money for a machine that will provide on demand, refill, nutritious peanut butter to our customers.

Nom Wholefoods is a refill shop in Staple Hill, Bristol. We help people shop without single use plastic. 

Is there anything tastier than a peanut butter/jam sandwich or more comforting than peanut butter on toast? 

Imagine peanut butter on tap whenever you want it!

No wonder our customers have asked us for a peanut butter machine so they can buy freshly made, nutritious peanut butter at an affordable price without single use packaging.

We already provide refill cupboard essentials, snacks, oat milk, herbs & spices. Also household cleaners such as washing up liquid, and shampoos and body washes.

The peanut butter machine would make a fantastic addition to our range of affordable refill items.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We have sourced a second hand machine (made by WEnutbutter), but the outlay is far too much for us to pay in one go. Your pledge will help us spread the cost of the machine plus the table & shelving for it to sit on.

You are not giving a charitable donation...

Whatever you pledge will be converted into peanut butter. We'll also give you a jar to fill up and keep!

Why a peanut butter machine? 

Not all peanut butters are created equal. 

You’re probably aware that some peanut butters have added sugars and other ingredients. But even the ‘natural’ ones aren’t always what they seem. 

If nutrition is important to you, always check the labels for fibre and protein content. Some natural butters have far less nutrients than others. 

Using our peanut butter machine will ensure you get all the nutrition and taste from the nuts, far cheaper than brands such as Meridian and Good Earth.

The peanut butter will cost £0.75 per 100g.

How will it work?

• We keep the machine topped up with nuts.
• You press the button and it grinds the nuts on demand filling your jar with spreadable nut butter! 
• It’s all done buy weight so you only pay for what you take.

The crowdfunder will run for 28 days so if you are thinking of donating, please don’t delay!

How will your pledge convert to peanut butter?

You'll be given a voucher to the value of your pledge, which you can use every time you fill up peanut butter.

There will be no time limit on the voucher. You can use the voucher until the amount is used up. 

If you donate £30 or more, you will also receive a voucher for use on any refill food item in the shop. 

Everyone will receive a jar to fill and refill!
