I am Samantha, and have set up a crowdfunder for my friend and his family who are trapped in North Gaza, facing genocide and famine. Please read his story here:
"I am Mohannad Mohammed Al-Nandar, a resident of northern Gaza. My house was completely destroyed due to the war. I have a large family consisting of my parents, my siblings, and their children, totaling over 30 people.
My family:
This is my son, Walid before the war. We had a beautiful home and life. Now we are displaced, this photo shows Walid queuing for food from a charity that cooks for refugees.
Several of my close family have been killed in this war. Among them is my sister, Mai Mohammed Al-Nandar, whose house was completely demolished by an Israeli airstrike. A heavy bomb struck their home, killing her, her husband, and their two-year-old daughter, Fatima, and burying them under the rubble, where they remain to this moment.

Another family member, my brother Mousa Mohammed Al-Nandar, was brutally killed by Israeli forces along with some of his friends, simply because he cherished freedom. My brother Mousa left behind a heavy burden: his wife and four young children, who are now under our care. We are responsible for their upbringing under these dire and painful circumstances during this ongoing aggression. We cannot even provide them with daily sustenance due to the worsening conditions.

We have been forced to flee from place to place repeatedly. We have no shelter, no home—only displacement camps that fail to protect us from the heat of summer or the bitter cold of winter. These harsh winters have already caused the death of numerous children in Gaza. We lack warm clothes, blankets, and adequate shelter. The single tent we have does not shield us from heavy rain; instead, water seeps through, leaving the tent and everything inside it in ruin.
My home:

Here was my house and my family's house, which was made up of three floors and had thirty innocent people inside. Everyone here was safe and living in peace. The warplanes bombed it completely, which led to all of us being displaced to camps where we face no shelter from the bitter winter cold. After bombing, the occupation bulldozers came and completely razed it and leveled it and the surrounding area.
On top of this, we are unemployed due to the war. We have no money and receive no financial or material assistance from any internal or external organization. Sometimes, we struggle to gather food for the children, and often, even that is unavailable. My elderly parents suffer from chronic illnesses, and the children are severely malnourished due to the lack of food and medicine. Skin diseases are spreading among them daily. Pregnant and nursing women cannot meet their basic needs, nor can they access medicine to ensure safe childbirth. And even when food or medicine is available, it is prohibitively expensive, far beyond our reach given our dire living situation and lack of income.
Because of the war, we lack food, medicine, shelter, stability—nothing exists but destruction in the devastated, grief-stricken, and besieged northern Gaza.
Therefore:
I kindly appeal to you to support me, my family, and the young children, so we can provide them with their basic nutritional needs and healthcare. O people of goodwill and conscience, please help us."
