Hi thank you so much for reading this fundraiser.

I’m Mymuna Soleman and the person behind the Privilege Cafe, a virtual cafe where we discuss all things privilege and how people can use their privilege for good.

I’m raising these funds for a local person here in my community who I’ll name Aisha Ahmed (name changed to respect anonymity). Aisha is a vulnerable lady who is in her 60’s living in Butetown. I’ve known her all my life and she has various health conditions which has gone significantly gone worse during Covid-19. Her health has deteriorated so much so she is now immobile. She doesn’t speak English and so is struggling to access the services she so desperately needs .

I’ve set up this small fundraiser as she is in desperate need of a new bed, mattress and bed sheets. The condition these items are currently in are not fit for anyone and will only add to her current health conditions.

Please can you help me help her raise the amount of money to buy these items for her as a matter of urgency. I would be greatful for any amount donated and no amount is a small amount.
