Hi, I’m Alexia, an emerging filmmaker with a lifelong passion for telling stories.
When I was nine, I gathered the neighborhood kids, borrowed my parents’ digital camera, and filmed an entire story I created myself. Life took me on many different paths, but now I’m finally ready to start my filmmaking journey properly.
I’m excited to produce my short film, The Neck of Hospitality — a spooky tale about Iris, a vampire shows up at Mabel’s flat, pretending to be her roomate's girlfriend. What follows is a chilling game of manipulation, as Iris toys with Mabel, turning her polite discomfort into something far more sinister.
This film is special because it was co-created with my partner and is coming to life with help from some amazing friends from film school. I love spooky stories, and my hope is to release this short by the end of October, for an extra special Halloween!
I’m raising £1000 (with a minimum goal of £500) to cover essential production costs — equipment rental, costumes, and keeping the crew fed and energized. Every pence will go straight into making the film the best it can be.
