Help Me Access Knee Surgery & Continue Ministry

Raising funds for urgent knee surgery to relieve pain, restore mobility, and continue serving in ministry.

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

Many of you will know that over the past few years I’ve faced a number of health challenges, including a brain tumour that was operated on and continues to be monitored. By God’s grace, and with the support of many around me, I’ve been able to keep going through those seasons.

However, this latest situation feels like one challenge too many.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in my knee, and it has become severely debilitating. I’m currently in constant pain, relying on regular medication, not sleeping well, and struggling to walk even short distances. It’s now affecting not just daily life, but also my ability to serve in ministry and be present in the ways I want to be.

After consulting with the NHS, I’ve been told the waiting time for surgery is over two years. Given the level of pain and limitation I’m experiencing, that simply isn’t a realistic option.

The alternative is private surgery, which could happen much sooner and would make a huge difference to both my quality of life and my ability to continue serving others. Unfortunately, the cost is far beyond what I can manage personally.

So, I’m setting up this page to invite anyone who feels willing and able to contribute towards the cost of surgery. I don’t do this lightly, but it feels like the clearest way forward.
