My name is Liudmila Loglisci, I am 19 years old and my dream is to become a professional dancer. To succeed in this career I have to train intensively, keep learning and be fully committed to this beautiful art that I wish to turn into my profession.

I have studied dance since I was 3 years old an I knew I wanted to become a dancer when I was 10. I’ve been full dedicated to my passion and I have been working very hard to improve ever since. Dancing is my own way of expressing emotions, feelings and communicating with other people. It gives me the sensation to detach from the normal life and enter into a different world where I can be and interpret many roles and make the audience feel emotionally moved. Dance has been part of my whole life and my love for this art form is endless. 

I pursued my dream to study dance and moved to London from Italy after being accepted at the English National Ballet School, where I graduated from in July 2020 and for which I had a scholarship that really helped me with my studies. Recently I was offered a place at the Professional Development Programme Jasmin Vardimon 2, based in Ashford, Kent starting this October. It was very unexpected and exciting to have this opportunity to learn and develop but unfortunately I do not have the money to pay for the fees of the programme and the living costs as I will have to move out from home. I am currently unemployed but I am willing to find a part time job to cover part of the living expenses and do whatever it takes to attend this life changing programme. 

Without a financial support I will not be able to continue my studies because over the past year my parents have been through financial difficulties and are seeking support from the government so they cannot cover the expenses for my studies and living.

With a financial help I could continue my professional development and be part of this programme that would change my life. I would learn and grow so much as a person and an artist and finally start the career I am determined to have. I really hope that you can support me to make my dreams come true and become a professional dancer.
