Our Story

Little Lion Events started life in May 2025 as Glow+Play, founded by two mums working around nap times, nursery runs, and the beautiful chaos of raising little ones.

What began as a small passion project quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined.

As more families joined us, our vision expanded. From play experiences and family events to parties, celebrations, and the launch of our much-loved Wild Pamper Bar, we continued to create magical experiences for children and families across South Wales.

As the business evolved, so did we.

Glow+Play became Little Lion Events — a name that better reflected our growing vision and everything we hoped to achieve.

Today, Little Lion Events is a family-run business, with myself, Josh, and our son Leo at the heart of everything we do. Every event, every setup, every late night, and every early morning has been driven by one goal: creating memorable experiences and a welcoming space where families can connect, celebrate, and make memories together.

Our Biggest Step Yet

After months of planning, hard work, and investing everything we can into our dream, we’ve secured our very first permanent premises.

This space will become a true family hub for our community.

A place where children can play, learn, imagine, and explore.

A place where parents and carers can enjoy a coffee, connect with others, and feel part of a supportive community.

A place where celebrations, laughter, friendships, and memories will be made every single day.

Our new venue will allow us to offer:

Why We’re Fundraising

We had hoped to be welcoming families through our doors during the week commencing 15th June 2026.

Unfortunately, despite securing our premises and making fantastic progress behind the scenes, a delay in our second funding application has temporarily slowed some of the planned works within the venue.

Whilst we remain positive and continue to pursue all available funding opportunities, this delay has created a funding gap at a crucial stage of our journey.

To date, we have personally invested thousands of pounds into Little Lion Events and committed to a lease on our first permanent premises because we truly believe in this vision.

Rather than putting our dream on hold, we’re reaching out to the incredible community that has supported us from the very beginning.

How Your Support Will Help

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us complete the fit-out and open our doors as quickly as possible.

If We Exceed Our Target

Any additional funds raised will be invested directly back into Little Lion Events to further enhance the experience for local families through additional play equipment, sensory resources, workshops, events, and community activities.
