Why Kytrix Travel Exists

My name is Daniel, and Kytrix Travel started because I know what it feels like to miss out.

Growing up, my parents worked incredibly hard, but money was tight and big trips were rare. While classmates went on school trips, theme parks, and holidays, I was usually the one staying behind.

I remember listening to everyone else’s stories and quietly thinking:
“Those kinds of experiences probably just aren’t for people like us.”

In 2016, my family moved to the Isle of Wight and it quickly became home.

But I also realised something else.

For many island families, getting off the island for a proper day out can feel almost impossible once you add together ferry costs, fuel, parking, attraction tickets, motorway driving, and the stress of organising everything yourself.

That’s where the idea for Kytrix Travel came from.

Not just another transport company.

A small-group travel company built around care, comfort, and connection.

A business designed to make amazing experiences feel achievable again.

What Is Kytrix Travel?

Kytrix Travel is a new Isle of Wight-based small-group travel business focused on:

• Family-friendly mainland day trips
• Airport and cruise transfers
• Community and group transport
• Event and attraction travel
• Small-group private hire

We want to remove the hardest part of travelling from the island: the logistics.

We handle the ferry planning, driving, parking, timings, routes, and organisation so families and groups can simply turn up, relax, and enjoy the day.

Instead of huge anonymous coaches, Kytrix is built around smaller, calmer, more personal journeys where people feel looked after, not processed.

The Problem We’re Trying to Solve

For many Isle of Wight families, even a simple day trip can become overwhelming.

By the time you add:

• Ferry costs
• Fuel
• Parking
• Attraction tickets
• Traffic
• Long motorway driving
• The stress of planning it all

many people simply decide not to go.

Children miss out on experiences.

Parents feel guilty.
