Launching Iron Oak’s first girls gymnastics class in Bradley Stoke with the equipment and setup needed to run it properly.

Who are we?
Iron Oak Gymnastics is a new non-profit girls gymnastics programme starting in Bradley Stoke.
I have built it around a very simple belief. Children do best when they are taught properly, expected to behave well, and given a calm, structured environment in which to improve over time.
This first phase starts with a girls foundations class for ages 5 to 7 at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre. It may be a modest beginning, but the standard behind it is not modest. I want this to be a class where girls are taken seriously, coached properly, and given the right foundations from the start.
Iron Oak is not meant to be just another children’s activity. It is being built for families who want more than noise, chaos and low expectations. I want to create something that feels well-run, disciplined and purposeful from day one.
Most of all, this first group matters because it sets the tone for everything that follows.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding because I want to launch the first Iron Oak class properly.
Like many good things, this is starting small. The first class will be held at Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre, and I am absolutely fine with that. What I do not want is for a humble starting point to mean cutting corners.
This first group is important. It is not just a class to get things going. It is the founding group of the wider Iron Oak pathway, and the habits, standards and culture that begin here will shape what Iron Oak becomes.
I am raising £1,600 to cover the essential equipment and setup needed to give the first group the right start. That means having the practical things in place to run sessions well, create the right environment, and make sure the class feels calm, structured and properly led from the outset.
If people are kind enough to support this, they are not just helping fund a class. They are helping establish the foundations of something I believe can become a very strong programme over time.
How will we spend the money raised?
We are raising £1,600 to help launch Iron Oak’s first girls foundations class in Bradley Stoke properly.
Here is how the money will be used:
I want to be completely clear about this. The money is there to help Iron Oak begin properly, not to dress it up or make it look bigger than it is.
Community impact.
For me, this is about more than launching one class.
I want to create a stronger local starting point for girls gymnastics in Bradley Stoke. Early experiences in sport matter a great deal. If children begin in a setting that is calm, encouraging and properly structured, they are much more likely to build confidence, develop good habits and stay engaged.
That is what I want Iron Oak to offer.
This project will benefit:
Iron Oak is starting small, but it is being built with long-term value in mind.
How can you play your part?
There are a few simple ways to help Iron Oak get off the ground properly.
1. Pledge.
Any contribution, large or small, will help us get closer to launching the first class in the right way.
2. Share the project. Please share this page with friends, family and anyone local who may believe in what Iron Oak is trying to build.
3. Spread the word locally. If you know families in Bradley Stoke or the surrounding area who would value this kind of programme, please point them our way.
4. Follow Iron Oak Gymnastics.
Following the project and keeping up with our progress helps build momentum around the founding group and the wider programme.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting the first step of Iron Oak Gymnastics.
