Help Kirkham Junior FC bring football home

Aim

Essential works required to completely restore the playing surface and bring the pitches back to a safe playable standard.

We are incredibly proud to announce some exciting news for our community. After working closely with the local town council, Kirkham Junior FC has secured a permanent home in the heart of Kirkham at William Segar Hodgson Playing Fields.

This is a huge milestone for our players, volunteers, coaches, families and supporters. Having a true home ground gives our club stability, identity and a base we can build on for years to come.

But now we need your support to make it happen.

Emergency Pitch Restoration Required

To open the site fully for the 2026/27 season, emergency pitch restoration works must begin immediately. These essential works will completely restore the playing surface and bring the pitches back to a safe, playable standard ready for competitive football.

Without this urgent intervention, the site cannot be brought back to full playing capacity in time for next season.

Any monies raised above the initial pitch restoration works will be invested into:

• Further pitch improvements required next year

• Ongoing site development

• Our long-term ambition of installing a 4G facility for the club and associating grassroots clubs in the surrounding villages / communities i.e. Freckleton / Warton
