Help us cover rising costs, overcome unexpected expenses and keep Supernova’s doors open. Help us keep our little dream alive 💛

Supernova Stay & Play was created from a very personal place, in the name of my little girl, Nova, who has a rare 17q12 chromosome deletion. Our lives involve regular hospital trips, specialist appointments and the challenges that come with her condition. I wanted to turn something that has brought uncertainty and challenges into something positive, something that could bring happiness to other families too.

What started as a dream three years ago has grown into a much-loved independent family business in Southwell.

Supernova is only run by myself and 2 family members, all of whom give our time voluntarily, without taking money out the business. Every session, coffee, cake and little detail is made possible through our own hard work and dedication. We’ve worked really hard to build Supernova into what it is today, even achieving recognition as the UK’s second-best play centre from Google reviews!

Our vision is to keep growing, welcoming families and creating a space where memories are made. But unfortunately, the unexpected costs being placed on us by our landlord, alongside the relentless rise in the cost of absolutely everything, have left us in a position we never imagined we’d find ourselves in. We’re at a point where we’re genuinely struggling to keep Supernova going and without some help, we’re facing the very real possibility of having to close our doors.

The money raised will go towards helping us meet these unexpected costs, keep on top of essential bills and, most importantly, give us a fighting chance of keeping Supernova open. We desperately want to continue but right now, we simply cannot do it without a little help.

We aren’t ready to give up on Supernova. We want to keep our doors open, continue doing what we love and give this little dream the future it deserves 💛
