 New stretch target

Wow! We are well over target, but please don't stop donating. During the Covid crisis more people than ever need help. Your donations will help the school meet additional needs, such as bedding, pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers, as well as warm winter clothes. Thank you so much.

Don’t forget if you’re buying online this Christmas then you can automatically give to John Stainer if you buy from some of the large retailers through the Easy Fundraising link below. It won’t cost you anything and that money can then be added to the Wrapped Up fund:

2020 has been a tough and unexpected year and has affected us all. We recognise there has been a huge increase in financial strain put upon families nationally as well as within our school community.  As a result, there are John Stainer families who are struggling to afford warm outdoor clothes for their children this winter.

The school always do everything they can to help, but this year in particular the demand is sadly too great to help everyone who needs it. And unfortunately the school can't currently accept donations of used clothing because of Covid restrictions, so they have less to give.

We are a group of John Stainer parents raising money to donate to the school to buy new clothing for the kids who need it.

We're looking to reach an initial target of £500. By raising these vital funds we can support them in getting warm coats, hats, gloves, scarves and shoes to the kids that need them.

The school anticipate an ongoing need to support children throughout the winter with suitable clothing, so any additional funds we can raise will continue to go to good use.

If you're in a position to help, we'd be hugely grateful for any donations.

If you're a family in need of support, please contact Tracy Townrow at the school through the usual routes.

Many thanks,

A group of Y3 parents
