The aim of our project is to stay in business, continue to help the local community and raise enough money to build a bakery on the premises
In 2013 Chef Damiano Vecchio opened Aneto in East Dulwich. Inspired by great fresh ingredients, Aneto, our small neighborhood café began creating great breakfasts for our regular guests. Due to our success, neighbours began to ask us for homemade soups and salads, and even made-to-order sandwiches. After successfully trading for five years Aneto moved into bigger premises in East Dulwich to showcase more dishes and increase trading hours until 8pm in the evening.
Until Covid 19, Aneto fulfilled the needs and desires of its guests with a menu of good ingredient-inspired, prepared-to-order food.
When you visited the cafe, you would see a real kitchen with chefs preparing dishes from scratch and baking fresh each day. Trained baristas welcomed the guests with the same passion everyday. We believed in our community and are proud to play our part
Since Covid 19 crisis started, and our café was closed, we swiftly changed our Café into a deli/shop complete with all the proper self distancing rules and guidelines . Selling fresh homemade pasta, instore made breads, wines, dry and fresh goods and the occasional toilet roll!
Also available is our delivery service where we make sure the proper cleanliness is adhered to in making, picking and packing the orders.
We provide a free delivery service to the most vulnerable people living in SE22/15
Post Covid-19 the objective is to build a bakery to produce even more bakery items and expand our deli range and offer the East Dulwich community:
The aim of our project is to stay in business, continue to help the local community and raise enough money to build a bakery and a fresh pasta production point in the premises to provide East Dulwich with the best locally operated café/deli in the area.
