We are putting on a production of Henry V in April and we need your help. Performing in period costume in the heart of Stratford upon Avon
Tread the Boards Theatre Company were formed in 2008 by Catherine Prout and John Partridge. They were invited to perform at The Attic Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon with their first production and have remained ever since, steadily increasing their reputation as the best fringe theatre company in Stratford. They are winners of Arts Organisation of the Year 2014 and 2016 and Team of the Year at the Pride of Stratford Awards.
In recent years they have picked up numerous awards at The Edinburgh Fringe including Best Childrens Production 2015, Best Actor 2015 and Finalists in the Primary Times Childrens Choice Awards 2015.
At the turn of the year the theatre fell under new management and the rent on the building was increased. The venue itself only seats 80 patrons so any profit made would go to the team we are short on the money it would cost to pay the rent and the basic overheads of putting on a theatre production with the increase of rent.
We are looking to raise funds for our first production of the year 'Henry V'. To put on the production along with the rent on the building, costumes, and set design we need to raise £5,000. This would help enormously with being able to afford the costumes required for a production in the period of 1415. Please it would also help with covering our marketing costs for the show.

The show closing weekend would fall on Shakespeare's Birthday and St. George's Day which is perfect for such a patriotic production as Henry V.
