Help us raise £5000 to provide a warm and safe space for the local community to gather over the winter months.
Based in the old River Island building in the heart of Swindon town centre, Swindon Hub is a safe, accessible and welcoming space for the community to meet, work, play, discuss, learn and share.
We opened our doors in November 2021. Since then we have welcomed hundreds of people to relax, read, chill in the cafe, join in with activities and get involved in many other ways.
The Hub has become a real focal point - we have recently hosted a vegan festival, an exhibition for Swindon's Open Studios and Paint Fest, regular meetings for local groups, helping people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, recovering from drug and alcohol dependency, dealing with bereavements, and lots more.
The Hub is 100% run by volunteers and we are committed to staying open and providing a warm space for all who need it over the coming winter.
So now we need to raise £5000 to help us cover the costs of keeping the lights on, the space warm and cosy, and providing free hot drinks and soup where we can.
With so many people facing increasing fuel bills at home, there's a real need for a warm and safe space for the local community to gather this winter.
Please help us keep the lights on and the warm welcome glowing - all donations made as part of the fundraising campaign will be used to cover the cost of electricity this winter.
