We've now hit our £2,000 target: thank you so much! Getting to £3,000 would help us ...
We need your help to get Zoe Marlow elected to Manchester City Council! Please donate to support our campaign to keep Woodhouse Park Green.
We need your help to get local community champion Zoe Marlow elected to Manchester City Council!
The Greens have three seats on Manchester City Council, all in Woodhouse Park ward in Wythenshawe next to Manchester Airport.
We've got a council by-election coming up, and we've chosen Zoe to defend our council seat.
With Labour and Reform likely to fight hard to win the seat, keeping an all-Green team in Woodhouse Park is vital for us to maintain a strong Green voice in Manchester fighting for social and environmental justice.
Can you help Zoe get elected and keep Woodhouse Park Green? Donate to our fundraiser now!
Zoe is a lifelong Wythenshawe resident now living in Woodhouse Park. She manages the food bank at the Dandelion Community Church, and works with the charity Community-Led Action and Savings Support (CLASS) to help women save money and run and join community groups.
Zoe helped create the resident-led Wythenshawe Central Network (WCN) as a response to the upcoming development of Wythenshawe Civic Centre. She is also a commissioner for Social Homes for Manchester, a coalition of organisations focused on sustainably accelerating the number of social homes available in Manchester by 2030.
“I’m a single parent living with a disability and was a young carer. I used to believe I couldn’t make change happen, but now I am doing my bit to make other lives better.
“Becoming a Green Party councillor would be a chance to speak up even louder for people in our community who feel they are no longer heard.
“I want to support hardworking families of all backgrounds and help provide a safe, clean and fair future for everyone.”
Local election campaigns are expensive, often costing thousands of pounds.
Zoe is an amazing candidate, but we need your help to make sure that we can also run an effective campaign both now and in the future.
With your help, we can raise the money needed to run a campaign that not only gets Zoe elected, but allows the Green message to be heard across Manchester next May and beyond.
Please donate to our crowdfunder now!
P.S.
This crowdfunder is adding to our existing campaign pot. Any donations will be used to support Zoe's campaign and the Green Party's future election campaigns in Manchester.
Because we're a political party, we're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500. If you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to general campaigning funds.
