Help Get The Next Graham Rabone Novel Published

Aim

The manuscript for Graham Rabone's highly anticipated second novel is complete, and we are seeking assistance with editing and publication.

I began writing novels about a decade ago. Before that, I worked as a police officer for 30 years, specialising in Kidnap for Ransom and Crimes in Action. During my last 12 years of service, I served as a Police Hostage and Crisis Negotiator, responding to approximately 400 incidents both in the UK and abroad. After retiring from the West Midlands Police (WMP), I worked in corporate security management, covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. It was then that I started to develop a fictional series based on my experiences.

Although I couldn't divulge real case scenarios or disclose police tactics, methodology, and capabilities, I could draw on my knowledge and experiences to craft fictional stories. 

The first novel in the series, 'The Victim', follows 22Red, a small consultancy that helps individuals and organisations manage security risks in an increasingly complex and hostile environment. The team at 22Red provides bespoke consultancy, expert analysis, and in-depth investigations, handling sensitive personal issues and offering practical on-the-ground protection and support. Each novel in the series follows the team as they tackle kidnap, extortion, murder, corruption, Irish terrorism, American extremism, narcotics, and London's criminal underworld. The main character throughout the series is Rufus Stone, the founding member of 22Red. 

I tried the traditional route of finding an agent and publisher for my debut novel, but after a year of countless rejection letters, I decided to self-publish, and have to date sold several hundred copies (plus many kindle downloads!) 

My second novel, 'The Accident,' has been ready for publication for four years, but unfortunately the pandemic hit, and finances became tight. My wife and I run a bed and breakfast in Dorset, and the business was severely impacted. However, many people are eagerly waiting to read the second book in the series, and have been encouraging me to go to print.  So, I am appealing to you for help in getting 'The Accident' professionally edited and published.
