We're at 84% total funding for our upcoming theatre tour - can you help get us to the finish line?
Our new project, One Breath Before The End, starts rehearsals today before a three-week tour to London, Bristol, and Manchester.
We are tantalisingly close to being fully funded which, for an entirely independently funded project, has been no easy feat. However, at the last minute, we have had a potential sponsor fall through. This has left us needing to make up a shortfall of around £2300, or 16% of the total capital required.
It is an immensely difficult time for arts funding right now. Despite boasting one of the largest creative sectors in the world, the UK spends significantly less on funding the arts than almost every other major European country. Support for new writing projects such as this one are even more inaccessible.
This is a five-week project employing four actors, one director, and numerous creative professionals who will all be paid a fair wage for their time. Your support would mean everything to us and enable us to keep making the shows we've worked so hard on, now and in the future.
Thank you!
