Since the onset of war in the Ukraine, well over 100 Ukranian refugees have come to Swindon under the 'Homes For Ukraine' scheme. Many came with very little and there is a long process ahead for them to learn English in order to be able to get employment. I know that a lot of people out there are unable to offer accommodation, so this is an opportunity for you to donate what you can to help refugees with food, clothing, learning English and other living costs.
We are holding a fund-raising evening with 4 live bands on the 11th June where you can also donate money, however, if you are unable to attend but would still like to donate to support these people, then this is the place to do it.
