Sad update
Bubbly, beautiful, brave Aleks sadly lost her long battle with cancer on 28th February, a lot sooner than we all expected.
The family have agreed that the fundraising and events should continue as Aleks’ amazing husband Gareth and the children, Daisie & Sam now need this support more than ever, today and for their future.
The family have been overwhelmed by the lovely comments and support so far so let’s keep it going.
If you’re local pop into the shop and have coffee and one of the best chocolates you’ll ever taste and encourage others to do so. Aleks was incredibly proud of their business and shopping in independent shops not chains. One easy way we can all help the family is to keep the business she loved thriving.
Three days after her beautiful Dorset beach wedding in October 2015 this beautiful lady was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
A close friend has metastatic breast cancer - it was originally in one lung, however, now it’s in two. An incredible lady just 36, she has battled Breast Cancer for 3 years and is a Mum of young children aged 6 and 10. All we’re asking is for everyone to donate £3, the price of a takeaway coffee and then share the link to this page on their Facebook - of their friends donated the same we’d easily raise these much needed funds.
