Help Emma to spend more time with her family!

Aim

To raise money so Emma can receive treatment that is not available on the NHS. This will give her valuable time with her family.

My dear friend Emma Broome has been battling Bowel Cancer for the last three years, it has now sadly spread to her liver and lungs. Having undergone four operations and having tried all the Chemotherapy drugs that are prescribed through the NHS, Emma's Oncologist has suggested she tries a drug that is not available on the NHS and the family will have to pay for. This will cost around £1k a month through Dorset County Hospital.

Emma is only 54 years old, Married to Jon, a lifeboat volunteer of 30 years. They have a 15 year old daughter Sophie. This is going to place an enormous strain on the family's finances for Emma to be able to receive the treatment that she badly needs. This treatment will give Emma a bit more time with her family.
