I'm Sa'Dia Mosaddeq, a 24-year-old community volunteer from Huddersfield, and I'm standing as The Green Party's candidate in the upcoming by election in Almondbury.
I believe in strong local campaiging and authenticity. This means getting stuck in, listening to, and volunteering with the community.
I have worked with disabled people, in a food bank, and more recently - young people, becoming a charity ambassador for WizeKap, helping to empower young people and strengthen our communities.
I'm standing because I believe local politics should be about listening, working hard and being present all year round. I want to be a visible, approachable representative who stands up for local people and helps build a greener, fairer Almondbury.
