We need your help, donate to elect Reading Greens and it will be doubled
We are asking for your help, making a donation, to pay for campaigning leaflets to re-elect/elect our councillors and target ward candidates at the May 2022 'all out' council elections. We are campaigning for a fairer, healthier and more affordable town. Your donation will be doubled!

Double your donation, double your impact
A Green Party supporter will double every donation made until they have exhausted their matching pot of £1000. This means if you donate £20 it will be doubled and make £40 of impact. If everyone gives what they can we will raise £2000+. Along with our reserves this will cover our election spending.
Why elect Greens?
Labour is letting down Reading. Green councillors are the real opposition in the town. We have achieved much for people and planet in Reading – more people getting a real Living Wage, a council climate change strategy and protecting the Thames Side – but there is still more that needs doing.
This year with boundary change elections all councillors are up for election. The Green Party could overtake the Conservatives and become the main opposition on Reading Council.
Why do you need the money?
Politics can be expensive there are many costs such as the production of campaigning leaflets and posters. Because of Brexit and Covid printing costs have recently doubled. Unlike the bigger political parties, the Green Party relies solely on contributions from normal individuals. We don’t have big businesses lining our pockets, so we ask that those who believe in our hopeful message help support our cause.
Our councillors and campaigners work hard all year round to change things for the better. Please help us fund our campaigning election leaflets to elect Greens by donating whatever you can.
