Aim

Fund a rapid-response vehicle to help intercept Russian drones and missiles before they hit Ukrainian cities; and other aid (see below).

Update, 15 December 2025: Our solidarity delegation has returned from Ukraine, having delivered three vehicles and other aid, worth tens of thousands of pounds.

As we explained just before they left: "We will be delivering a vehicle and equipment to the UAV Interception Platoon discussed below (which was in Sumy oblast but has now transferred to another part of the front); and a vehicle and equipment to frontline rescue workers in Donetsk oblast, Ukraine's 10th Rescue Squad. We also received additional requests for aid from these and other Ukrainian organisations: including rescue equipment, winter clothing and medical. Therefore we are still fundraising to cover all costs."

We actually ended up delivering three vehicles!

We have now met our £17,000 target; any money raised above this will go towards a new appeal. More information very soon!

Previous summary of appeal:
Ukraine Emergency Appeal: Equip the Frontline to Stop Deadly Drone and Missile Strikes

Right now, Ukraine’s 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade is holding the line under relentless aerial assault. Their UAV Interception Platoon works around the clock to detect, track, and neutralise incoming threats — but they urgently need a dedicated, refitted pickup truck to deploy at speed and keep pace with the danger.

This appeal comes directly from trade unionists and democratic socialists in Kryvyi Rih — an industrial city whose miners and steelworkers have stepped forward to resist the invasion. Many of the Brigade’s soldiers once worked in Kryvyi Rih’s factories and mines. Today, they carry that same spirit of solidarity to the frontline.

Your donation will:

  • Fund the purchase and delivery of a pickup truck and humanitarian aid.
  • Refit the vehicle for frontline UAV interception missions.
  • Save lives by stopping drones and missiles before they strike homes, hospitals, and workplaces.
  • If enough funds are raised, also help provide an additional vehicle to the 10th Mine Rescue Squad for firefighting and rescue operations in Donetsk oblast.

When the vehicle for the Interception Platoon is delivered, we will also deliver rescue equipment, winter clothing, and essential medical aid to frontline defenders resisting the invasion.

Every contribution brings us closer to delivering this life‑saving support to those risking everything to defend Ukraine’s people and future.

Donate today. Stand with Ukrainian workers on the frontline defending their cities from attack.
