Aim
To elect the first Green Party district councillor for Chipping Norton — but we need your help to make it happen.
Our May 2026 council elections are coming up in Chipping Norton.
This means we have the next six weeks to plan, organise and mobilise.
The good news? There is a Green movement growing in Chipping Norton and our membership and volunteer base has never been stronger. Without a doubt, this is the best chance we have ever had to win the first Green district councillor for Chippy.
However, this success is unachievable without greater financial backing. As you may well know, the Green Party of England and Wales is not propped up by fossil fuel companies, corporate interests, or Silicon Valley billionaires — and the same cannot be said for the established parties, locally or nationally.
This is where you come in. If every Green Party member or supporter in Chipping Norton donated to this fundraiser over the next eight weeks, we would be on our way to hitting our target. This money is crucial in designing, printing and delivering leaflets, running social media campaigns, distributing posters and boards, running stalls, and more.
We are so excited for this set of elections. At a time when divisive politics dominates the headlines, we are ready to deliver real change and provide genuine hope. We know that residents in Chipping Norton want to see more Green voices on their council. Help us make that ambition a reality on 7 May.
