Help Build Peace in Our Community, One Conversation at a Time

Peacebuilding starts with how we treat one another. Restorative justice shows us how to move forward when harm happens.

Help fund free community events that bring people together, rebuild trust and create more peaceful communities this International Restorative Justice Week.
-----------

Peacebuilding is about creating the conditions for people to live together safely, resolve disagreements and build trust, even when they have different experiences, beliefs or perspectives. It is not just about ending wars. It also means addressing the tensions and conflicts that affect our everyday lives, from disagreements between neighbours to harm experienced by young people and families.

Restorative justice helps make this possible. Rather than focusing only on punishment, it brings people together to understand the harm caused, hear different perspectives and find ways to repair relationships and rebuild trust.

This November, help RJ4All bring our community together to explore better ways to address conflict and build stronger connections. Your donation will help keep these activities free and open to everyone.

Bringing Our Community Together

During International Restorative Justice Week, 15–21 November 2026, RJ4All will bring local residents, young people and practitioners together to explore how restorative justice can contribute to peacebuilding and stronger, more connected communities.

Through free community activities and online events, we will create opportunities for people to learn about restorative justice, build connections and explore how we can respond to harm and conflict in ways that promote understanding, accountability and lasting change.

Our programme will include:

  • Speak Up! Community Circle: A welcoming space to share experiences, listen to different perspectives and explore how we can build stronger connections.

Speak Up! Community Circles offer a welcoming space for people to share experiences, listen to different perspectives and explore ways to address harm, resolve conflict and strengthen community connections through restorative justice.

  • Cook and Connect: An opportunity to bring people together through food and conversation, helping people connect in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Cook and Connect brings people together through food, conversation and shared experiences. It offers a welcoming space to connect with others, strengthen community relationships and build a sense of belonging.

  • Peacebuilding Training: Practical learning on responding to conflict and addressing harm through restorative justice approaches.
  • Peacebuilding Webinar: Experts and practitioners sharing insights into how restorative justice can contribute to a more peaceful society.

These are more than events. They are opportunities to make our community a place where people feel heard, harm can be addressed constructively and differences do not have to become divisions.

We Need Your Help to Make It Happen

We are raising £1,000 to deliver International Restorative Justice Week 2026.

The programme currently has no dedicated funding. Without community support, it will be harder for us to bring people together and ensure these activities remain accessible to everyone.

We believe that the opportunity to learn, connect and work through conflict should not depend on how much money someone has.

Your donation will help cover the practical costs of delivering the programme, including venue hire and event set-up, refreshments, facilitators, accessibility and captioning, and community outreach and promotion.

Every Contribution Makes a Difference

You do not need to give a large amount to make a meaningful contribution. Every donation helps us get closer to our goal.

  • £2 could help provide refreshments for someone taking part in a community activity.
  • £5 could help cover materials for a peacebuilding session.
  • £10 could contribute towards delivering free restorative justice activities, giving more people the opportunity to connect, share their experiences and explore ways to address harm together.
  • £25 could make a more substantial contribution towards the costs of facilitating a community session.
  • £50 could help cover a share of the costs of delivering an accessible, welcoming event.

Every contribution, whatever its size, brings us closer to our £1,000 target.

Peace Is Something We Build Together

You don't have to be a peacebuilding expert to make a difference. Sometimes, it starts with a conversation, a willingness to listen or an opportunity to understand another person's perspective.

Your donation will help RJ4All keep community activities free and accessible, creating spaces where people can address conflict, rebuild trust and strengthen relationships.

Donate today to help us reach our £1,000 target and make peace part of everyday community life.

Thank you for your support.
