Animal Welfare Party is raising funds so that we can stand in the Scottish Parliament Elections for the first time ever. Will you help us?
Animal Welfare Party is a UK political party aiming to create a fairer world for people, animals and the environment. For the first time ever, we're hoping to stand in the Scottish Parliament Elections, which take place on 5th May. Please see some of our policies for Scotland below.
We're part of a world-wide movement of over 15 political parties for animals that takes in Australia, Europe, Canada and the US - and each year, new parties are forming.
Our sister parties in the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal and Australia have already been successful in returning dedicated representatives for animals to their decision making bodies. We know that the same is possible for Scotland. We hope you'll help us.
We intend to stand in Glasgow in the Regional Election - but contesting elections doesn't come cheap. Our party is entirely run by volunteers and we receive no government or lottery funding. In fact, the only funding we receive comes from kind-hearted people like you – in the form of donations and membership fees. We'd love your support in helping us raise the £500 we need as a deposit and the £5000 (or part thereof) for marketing materials – enough to print leaflets for every home in Glasgow.
Your donation, no matter how large or small will help us demonstrate that our vision has real support from the public.
We hope you'll lend our movement your support today.
Sincere Thanks
