Meet Albus, a spirited 6-month-old kitten who has stolen our hearts with his boundless energy and affectionate nature. Despite facing a challenging start in life, Albus is a resilient little feline who is determined to live his life to the fullest. Albus's Story:
Albus came into our care with a diagnosis of severe Hip Dysplasia. This degenerative condition has left Albus in pain and discomfort, hindering his ability to move and play like a normal, happy kitten. His chance at a normal life lies in a double femoral head neck excision, creating a socket for his hips to fit into, a procedure that comes with a significant financial burden.
The Battle Against Hip Dysplasia:
Hip Dysplasia affects the ball-and-socket joint in the hip, causing malformation, pain, and stiffness. Albus's loving spirit is trapped in a body that doesn't allow him to express his full potential. With your help, we can change that.
Our Plea for Support:
We are turning to our incredible community, not just for Albus but for the many other cats in our care needing support. Although we have been able to negotiate the cost of Albus's surgery it’s more than we normally budget for one animal, and so we need your help to provide him with the chance to experience a normal, happy, and long life that he so truly deserves.
