Support the Green Party's campaign for Greater Manchester mayor. Donate to help us campaign now and in the future!
Let's make sure that every voter in Greater Manchester gets the Green message in the 2024 Greater Manchester mayoral elections!
On Thursday 2nd May Greater Manchester residents will go to the polls to elect the mayor of Greater Manchester.
With a Greater Manchester Combined Authority that doesn't represent us, communities across our city region getting more and more left behind, and piecemeal action on the climate, we need urgent change.
Having announced he will stand for a third term, Andy Burnham will be offering more of the same. It's vital there's a Green Party voice in the campaign and a Green option on the ballot paper, both now and in future elections.
A strong mayoral campaign also gives us a boost in local elections, helping to get more Greens into council chambers.
Can you help Hannah Spencer run an effective campaign? Donate to our fundraiser now!
Hannah is a local councillor in Trafford. As a plumber who works on housing retrofit projects, she is passionate about addressing the cost-of-living crisis and the climate crisis. Her experience and dedication to campaigning will make her an incredibly strong challenger to Andy Burnham. In her private life, she is a keen runner, and a housemate to three wonderful rescued greyhounds.

"I have lived and worked in Greater Manchester for all of my life and I know how great it has the potential to be. The Green Party offers a credible alternative to the same old of the other parties, and a fairer future and a better Greater Manchester are within reach. I will not take for granted the trust of anyone who chooses to vote for me in May. It is an honour and a privilege that has to be earned, and I hope to show everyone in Greater Manchester that the Green Party can be their home."
Mayoral campaigns are expensive. It costs £5,000 to pay our deposit to stand, and another £5,000 to get our message out across Greater Manchester in the official election booklet. That's £10,000 overall, not to mention the additional costs.
Hannah is an amazing candidate, but we need your help to make sure that we can also run an effective campaign both now and in the future.
With your help, we can raise the money needed to run a campaign that ensures the Green message will be heard across Greater Manchester not just this May, but over the coming years.
P.S.
This crowdfunder is adding to our existing campaign pot. Any donations will be used to support Hannah's campaign and the Green Party's future campaigns in Greater Manchester.
Because we're a political party, we're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500. If you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website. All donations go to general campaigning funds.
