Aim
We want to evidence the poor quality of the water currently flowing through the reserve and the knock on affect this has for our habitats.
The friends of Low Hall NNR are committed to change! We are committed to protecting our amazing green space and we are determined to make people listen about what is impacting on the health and well-being of the reserve.
The health of our rivers is a hot topic in the media and the issue we have locally at Low Hall is no exception. We are reaching out for funding to allow us to purchase the equipment we need to evidence our poor water quality, we hope by doing this we can get the support we need from the key stakeholders.
We have also attached some photographs that clearly show how serious the issues are locally. Sadly we have many more just like this, if this rubbish and debris isn’t removed it passes through the reserve. Some of which deposits in the wetland areas and the rest makes it way out in the main river.
