Aim
to help former members of HM Armed Forces (Veterans) facing homelessness to rebuild their lives
we are a tiny team that punches well above our weight, so much so that in the past ten years we have helped 600 homeless veterans earning the charity two Royal Awards including in 2020 THE QUEENS AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE.
These soldiers sailors and airmen and sometimes women and partners and children turn to us when their lives are at their lowest ebb.
We assist them by helping them find somewhere to live again, give assistance with rent and bonds, provide essential items like a new bed and cooker, kettle as well as the pots pans cups plates knifes forks and spoons, everything needed to start living a normal life again.
Aviva Community Fund has provided £3,950 of match funding
