3TIMESREBEL PRESS NEEDS YOUR HELP TO KEEP PUBLISHING

WHO WE ARE

3TimesRebel Press is an independent fair-trade publisher based in Dundee, Scotland, championing fiction by women writing in minority languages—Catalan, Basque, Galician, Belarusian, Welsh, and more. We believe these stories deserve to be heard in English, not as novelties, but as vital contributions to global literature and social justice.

Our Mission

We translate and publish only women authors in minority languages, grounded in ethical practice: equitable agreements for authors, translators, artists and designers, UK-based eco-printing, and charitable giving to organisations supporting women with dignity. Our mission isn’t driven by trends or profit—but by a fierce commitment to fairness, diversity, and collective flourishing.

Our Publications So Far

WHY 3TIMESREBEL MATTERS

We're so much more than just a publishing house. We're a home for women writing in minority languages, whose voices have been silenced for too long by mainstream publishing. We love translating stories into English because we know that every time we do, we're making a difference. By sharing different perspectives, we can challenge the dominant narratives that we are all too familiar with.

We are a close-knit team of people who are passionate about publishing amazing stories by female authors who write in minority languages. It's a conscious choice, driven by our love for these languages and a touch of rebellious spirit. We're proud to say that every step we take, from fair-trade practices to ethical printing and partnerships that support women's dignity in our community, reflects our values.

THE STRUGGLE BEHIND THE SCENES

We've been working with such dedication for years, putting in our time for free or for next to no money.  What you might not see is the burnout – too many late nights, too many sacrifices, all driven by belief, not profit. But, you know, just believing in something isn't enough on its own. To survive—and to continue elevating these extraordinary stories—we must embrace sustainable funding. Because in today’s cost-of-living crisis, no meaningful literary project can rely on exhaustion masquerading as dedication.

We know you'll agree that independent presses like ours are not just trendy side hustles. We're on a mission to shake up an industry that's mostly run by huge corporations. We want to make sure that culture is there for everyone, and we're passionate about creating a literary world that's all about love and fairness.

YOUR SUPPORT IS A LIFELINE

By backing this crowdfunding campaign, you’re helping us to:

  • Keep publishing voices in minority languages that deserve to be heard.
  • Compensate our translators, authors, editors, and designers fairly
  • Maintain local, eco-friendly production—not mass-produced outsourcing
  • Grow sustainably, so our team isn’t burning out just to keep up
  • Champion independent publishing, strengthening a vital counterbalance to corporate-dominated media

You’ll be part of a movement that turns quiet rebellion into transformative cultural action. A project where impact matters more than profit.

WILL YOU HELP SUSTAIN THIS ACT OF REBELLION WITH US?

When you support 3TimesRebel Press, you’re doing more than supporting an independent publisher. You’re helping to write a different story for publishing—a story rooted in fairness, creativity, sustainability, and collective dignity. You’re ensuring that the necessary voices of women writing in minority languages reach readers in the UK and beyond.

We know that our mission isn't always easy. But it’s urgent. And together, we can build something that lasts—something beautiful, brave, and fair.

With your support, we can continue to do so.

Because 3TimesRebel Press matters. Not just to literature—but to the futures of every voice we carry forward.

Only women. Only minority languages. This is our choice.

We are 3TimesRebel.
