What are the Scouts?
The Scouts prepare young people with skills for life – helping them speak up and play their part. Each week we give almost half a million people aged 6-25 the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.
We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience & skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.
We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

1st Elgin Scout Group
1st Elgin Scout Group currently support over 70 young members across ages 6- 25 who fall into the categorises of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network. As well as this they have a volunteer leadership team of around 20 members who help support the delivery and running of activities, trips and adventures for all these young people which in turn supports these young people to develop skills for life.
Money raised will go towards activities, equipment and developing the land for adventure activities.
