Aim

Raise funds to open a horror café in Glasgow, bringing props, art and merchandise as well as themed menu

Well hello there. I'm a horror fiend and a coffee friend, and wish to combine the two in a themed café experience. I am a keen prop maker and have a real passion for all things horror, especially that nostalgic browse along the VHS artwork, wondering if the tape within really WILL haunt my nightmares.

I've worked for one of the biggest comicbook stores in the UK and despite seeing the rise of geek stores, I see a distinct lack of themed cafés and exhibition spaces specifically for the horror fans that I know exist in their droves here.

I've been a barista also, experimenting with flavour combinations and really appreciating local produce and excellent coffee.

I know how important it is to get the community involved and I believe there is something for everyone here. The nostalgic smell of popcorn, photo opportunities, artwork from all eras of horror cinema, events curated especially for the café, themed exhibitions and local creators.
