Here at The Roost we've had some hefty vet bills recently :( with the lack of fundraising available we really need your help to clear them!
The last wee while has been especially tough for our little pack of special needs Roost dogs :( We have had to have 2 special souls put to sleep....precious baby Olaf was a poor wee soul with a suppressed immune system, low bone density and a heart problem too, he had to be put to sleep after breaking his fragile little jaw yawning or barking.

Then dear old Hedwig, who was used in a puppy mill most of her life, developed a horrid infection in her womb and had to be put to sleep too .

Little Dobby, who has fits, has needed extra treatments recently,

and now our sanctuary star, blind Sherlock, who has done multiple off lead walks to raise funds, has had a biopsy on a suspicious lump...we are awaiting results but anticipate further expensive treatment heading our way...his tests and biopsy alone are already amounting to over £500.

With all of the above, our bill is currently standing at over £1000, and Sherlock is not done yet. Not only are all these things heartbreaking for us, but they are putting a massive financial strain on our incredibly limited resources after such an awful year for bringing in funds. We desperately need your help to cover these bills and allow us to reserve our existing funds to care for the remaining residents, goodness knows when we will be able to get back to regular fundraising!! Every penny really does help and is so gratefully received. Thank you all for anything you can give. Xxx
