With generous donations we can employ full time staff to enhance the ministry
To bring peace of mind and joy of living to everyone through healing and reconciliation reaching into broken lives and a damaged community.
We are a close knit, professional team providing counselling, mentoring, prayer ministry, life coaching, respite facilities, indeed whatever leads to peace of mind and healing of individuals and relationships. We provide this free at the point of need, regardless of faith, culture or status. This project is aimed to enhance funding to provide facilities, professional counselling supervision and training of counselling students in support of the Charity's Counselling service.
The building has been built to high specification and the facilities conducive to finding help and peace. Professional supervision of counsellors is provided. The high quality of the service has attracted degree level and masters students to apply for training and the charity would want to provide facilities to support them and hopefully enroll them for the future.
There is a very active peer review system and continuing professional education programme which requires funding support.
There is a successful rehabilitation programme providing continuing support, befriending and group facilities.
Staff provide a comprehensive programme of external talks and seminars across the island to raise awareness of suicide and "first aid" for those who are distressed. Staff provide quiet days in peaceful surroundings on and off site for group support and advice.
The National Emergencies Trust has provided £4,905 of match funding
