Aim
To create a memorial to Norman Barker (Headphones Norm) at The Valley
Who are we?
We are Charlton Athletic Supporters' Trust (CAST)
Established in 2012 to Protect, Preserve and Promote Charlton Athletic Football Club for this and future generations CAST is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (no. 31912R) and is an affiliate member of The Football Supporters Association. CAST has 2500 members
Why are we crowdfunding?
Norman Barker was one of our own. A wonderful, friendly Charlton fan who was loved and recognised by his fellow Charlton fans home and away for 40 years and more. Since his passing it has been clear that love and respect for Norm was felt across the football family and nowhere more deeply than in SE7
The Charlton Athletic Supporters’ Trust is working with Norm’s family and the football club to determine the best ways to honour Norm. Part of that will be a permanent memorial at The Valley. By creating a permanent memorial, we are holding tight to Norm and at the same time remembering that, like Seb, he holds a beacon to what makes us all Addicks.

How we’ll spend the money raised
All the money raised will go to commemorate Norm & what he meant to everyone associated with Charlton Athletic Football Club. In the first instance we are raising money for a permanent memorial at The Valley. We will work closely with the family and the football club to build out the proposals
Community impact
The Valley is the home of Charlton Athletic FC with a capacity of 27, 111. The club draws on and contributes to all of the community in South East London and Kent
