Liam's Head shaving for Little Heartbeats

Aim

Shave my head to raise £750 to support the incredible work done by Little Heartbeats UK and to donate my hair to The Little Princess Trust

My brother Adam and his partner Charlotte were expecting their first child Arlo in August 2026, however in April, Charlotte experience preterm prelabour rupture of membrane (PPROM) which in layman's term is water breaking before 37 weeks. 

This is where Little Heartbeats stepped in to assist Adam and Charlotte during this tough time. They were sent a care pack and received guidance from the team at Little Heartbeats. 

After 25 weeks, Charlotte was rushed into hospital for an emergency c-section where on May 21st, Arlo was born. I became an uncle, my parents became grandparents and Adam and Charlotte became parents, all for the first time. Arlo however, born premature, didn't make it through the night and in the morning of May 22nd, he passed away. Arlo had put up one hell of a fight but unfortunately his little lungs hadn't developed enough. 

The money raised will go to Little Heartbeats, to continue the incredible work they do in support mothers and their families who experience PPROM as well as raising awareness for this. Little Heartbeats are not a fully registered charity (as of June 2026) and this money will go towards gaining official charity status in the UK. 

Any money donated would be greatly appreciated on behalf of my family, Charlotte's family and Little Heartbeats. My ponytail will be donated to Little Princess Trust to help create a real-hair wig for a a young person in need.

The shaving will take place on July 24th and will be done in the Bournemouth office, during the work day. Any colleagues wishing to donate, you will be rewarded with the opportunity to shave a chunk of my hair off, the bigger the donation, the bigger the chunk.
